The principle of action in the production of citric acid

Evaporation of water: During the purification process of citric acid, the solution containing citric acid needs to be evaporated and concentrated. High-temperature steam shall serve as the heat source for the evaporator, causing the water in the solution to evaporate and increasing the concentration of citric acid.

Driving equipment: Some citric acid production equipment may be driven by the pressure difference of high-temperature steam, such as steam ejectors, etc. In some old-fashioned or specific production processes, high-temperature steam shall drive the operation of certain equipment to achieve the transportation or mixing of materials.

Technological process and advantages

Process: In the production of citric acid, high-temperature steam is usually generated by boilers and transported through pipelines to various heating or driving stages. During the usage process, the temperature and pressure of the steam shall be precisely controlled according to different process requirements.

Advantages: High-temperature steam has a high energy density and shall provide a large amount of heat in a short time, meeting various heating requirements in citric acid production. Its use is relatively stable, easy to control and adjust, and ensure the stability of the production process and the consistency of product quality.
