Introduction of jet liquefier
1. Overview
Jet liquefier is a kind of equipment that realizes liquid atomization and gas-liquid mixing by using the pressure difference and kinetic energy between the two phases of gas and liquid. By designing a special injection structure, the gas-liquid two-phase flow is converted into negative pressure during the injection process, so as to realize the atomization of liquid and the full mixing of gas liquid.
2. Working principle
The working principle of jet liquefier is based on jet theory. When the high-pressure gas passes through the tube, the airflow shall slow down due to diffusion, and the liquid shall be inhaled by the negative pressure. The liquid is driven by gas in the tube, forming a good gas-liquid mixing and heat and mass exchange.
3. Main components
• Mixing chamber, also known as the tube, is the main place for gas-liquid two-phase flow mixing. Its diameter and shape are calculated according to the liquefaction conditions to ensure that the gas flow rate shall provide sufficient kinetic energy and negative pressure.
• Diffuser tube: It located behind the mixing chamber, it is mainly used for decelerating and pressurizing, and guiding the discharged liquid or gas.
• Pipette: Used for suction of liquid, designed to ensure that the liquid can enter the mixing chamber smoothly.
