Introduction of Vortex Flowmeter
The structure of the vortex flowmeter mainly consists of three parts: the sensor, the converter and the display instrument. The sensor consists of components such as the vortex generator, detection element and instrument body. The converter is responsible for converting the detection signal into a standard signal output, and the display instrument is used to show the flow value.
Working principle: When the fluid flows through the vortex generator placed in the pipe, it alternately separates and releases two regular vortices on both sides downstream of it. These vortices are called Karman vortex streets. Vortex flowmeters measure the flow rate of fluids by detecting the frequency of vortices, which is directly proportional to the flow velocity of the fluid.
